Quotes From My Classroom
I like to share a weekly quote about reading on my whiteboard at the start of every week. Hopefully it inspires my students to discover a love or appreciation of reading. If nothing else, they’ll practice their reading skills.
I usually post the quote at the beginning of the week and let my students think on them all week. At the end of the week, we talk about what we think the quote means, or what it means to them. It’s fun to get the perspective from a child’s mind. I’m always amazed at how differently we see things!
